An exciting event was the talk of Potter County and beyond for the past two summers. Eliot Ness Fest/Touched by the Untouchable will return in 2020! It’s scheduled for Friday through Sunday, July 17-19, 2020. Not only will we celebrate the legacy of the famous Eliot Ness, who spent the final years of his life in Coudersport, we will also be “Roaring Into The ‘20s” with a whole host of fun events and fascinating programming with broad appeal.
Ness’s name is known far and wide as a symbol of courageous and effective law enforcement. The story of Eliot Ness and his Untouchables has been circulated around the world in print, stage and screen.
Last year’s festival attracted a considerable amount of attention to our community as well as upwards of 4,000 visitors. Virtually everyone we spoke with expressed a desire to return in 2020 and bring along family members and friends. The weekend will be filled with prominent speakers presenting insightful and captivating programs, costumed characters, lively street theater, four authentic vintage vehicle shows, fun events for both adults and children, and more.
