This annual festival celebrates the life and career of the famous lawman, who spent the final two years of his life in Coudersport. It is designed to both entertain and educate the public, while spotlighting the law enforcement community, reliving the Roaring '20s with captivating activities and attractions, and drawing visitors to Potter County to join in on the fun.

Organized by many individuals and groups under the direction of Co-chairs: David Castano, President, Potter County Historical Society; Bill Pekarski, writer and Ness Historian; and Jennifer Rossman, Community Development Director, Potter County. Committee members at present include: Paul Heimel, Meghan Larsen-Reidy, Paul Herzig, Todd Brown, Sharon Fitzgerald, Theresa Welsh, Hans Nielsen, Steve Green, Brian Ruane, and Curt Weinhold.
