Cars and trucks of the Roaring ‘20s -- the days of Eliot Ness and Al Capone -- are still widely regarded as some of the most gorgeous and glorious vehicles ever made. Take a walk down Main Street in Coudersport during the Eliot Ness Fest this July 19-21 and you’ll see why.
With the exception of a later production or two, all of the cars and trucks you will see are authentic vehicles from the Ness and Capone era. From luxury touring cars and roadsters, such a famed 1924 Rolls-Royce Roadster, to coupes, sedans, coaches and more, you will feel as if you have taken a step back in time.
Likewise the cars and trucks of Ness’ years transforming Cleveland from the most dangerous and corrupt city in America to the “America’s Safest City” were just as impressive. You can see stunning examples of these cars and trucks (circa 1933-42), in a second show on Third Street in Coudersport, outside of the former Ness home.
Last but not least, as a reflection of Eliot Ness’ legacy as America’s most legendary lawman of all time, at the courthouse square you will find law and emergency vehicles of all vintages and types.
